Scouting is a volunteer organization.  Since 1910 the Boy Scouts of America has provided leadership training for boys of all ages. In King of Prussia, Cub Scout Pack 551 represents over 60 boys from 50 different families. Teaching leadership to these boys is a challenging experience and it takes a big commitment from the boys and their families. Each year the boys work hard to help out in the community, their church, and their school.

A part of that hard work includes the efforts that they must put into completing the requirements for advancement through the different ranks of scouting. Once each year, these scouts are joined with their families at a recognition dinner that we call the Blue and Gold Banquet. The banquet is the biggest event of the year for these young boys and the recognition that they receive is a big part of the scouting experience.

The Cub Scouts of Pack 551 are seeking support from the community for this event. Donations from merchants go a long way to making the banquet successful and we would like to thank you for your consideration. Your tax deductible donation will be much appreciated and we would like to suggest merchant items that we can raffle off to the families as a fund raiser during the event. Gift certificates or merchandise are ideal.

This year the event will take place on March 6 and we hope you may find it in your business plan to make a small donation to benefit the hard work these boys have put in. During the event, we will assure your company receives proper recognition for your contribution.
